About Our SMS Program
The Type Shop, Inc. offers an SMS text message program to keep our customers informed about their print orders. If you opt in, we will send transactional text messages related to your order, including:
Order status updates
Ready-for-pickup notifications
Payment confirmations and receipts
Deposit and balance reminders
Requests to review proof or approve artwork
Pickup reminders
We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How to Opt In
You can opt in to receive SMS notifications from The Type Shop in any of the following ways:
In-store: When you place an order at our shop at 935 Main Street, Montevallo, AL, you can provide your mobile phone number and check the "Yes, send me order updates by text" box on your order form.
By phone: When you place or call about an order, you can verbally consent to receive SMS notifications at the phone number you provide.
Online: Submit the sign-up form below with your name and mobile phone number.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.
Sample Messages
"Type Shop: Your business cards order #4821 is ready for pickup. We're open Mon–Fri, 9–5 at 935 Main St. Reply STOP to opt out."
"Type Shop: We received your payment of $84.50 for order #4821. Thank you! Reply STOP to opt out."
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your order activity. You will typically receive 1–4 messages per order.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier's plan. The Type Shop, Inc. is not responsible for any charges from your carrier.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of SMS messages from The Type Shop at any time by replying STOP to any text message we send. After you reply STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and you will not receive further texts unless you opt in again.
